Description
King Hans has searched his lands far and wide, but he can find no woman who satisfies him, even though he must produce an heir. No one seems able to touch his heart, no matter how beautiful or kind the lady.
Hans is starting to despair of ever finding a bride who pleases him when he hears of the sorceress ice queen, Ilsa, purported to be the most beautiful woman anyone has ever laid eyes upon. When he seeks her aid and explains his problem, she offers him an unexpected solution—she turns Hans into the very woman he claims to desire.
At first he is furious at Ilsa’s response, but as Hans adjusts to his new life and learns new lessons from Ilsa he starts to realize that this may indeed actually be the solution to his problem. Hans cannot remain with the ice queen forever, though, and she will not change him back until he has melted the ice in his heart.
Can Hans persuade Ilsa that he has learned his lessons and free him of her spell? And as he grows more comfortable as the ice queen’s companion, does he even want to?
